The Integration of Twitter and Blogger

Integrating your Twitter and Blogger account will allow more opportunities for an organization to advertise.

Twitter is a social networking web site that focuses on simplicity. It asks one question...What are you doing? and your answer is no more than 140 characters. The beauty of this? This gives a business the opportunity to make a statement without the intention of receiving an answer from its readers. Now, integrating Twitter with Blogger or vice versa gives a company a broader range of advertisement. How is this? Simple. Integration does not force a company to maintain each individual network. Instead, you are able to sign into ONE social network (i.e. Twitter or Blogger), post your announcement and it funnels straight to the other network(s) you are integrated with. This saves a large amount of time for the individual who maintains these sites. For example, if a company were to sign into their Blogger account and post a blog, because they are integrated with Twitter it will post a link to the new blog post on the company's Twitter page. Plus, the company did not have to sign on to Twitter for this integration to occur.

One way to set up integration between your two social networks, we'll use Twitter and Blogger, is to go to: your Blogger account, click on the layout tab, add a gadget, search for Feeds (and add), key in your Twitter URL, click Continue and save. There you have it, very simple to set up and now your are able to maintain your Twitter and Blogger account with only being signed into one network or the other.
